From blankets, throws, and pillows to unique cork products and fair-trade horn jewelry, wine bottle holders and polished kudu horns, the products in our collection are unique, eclectic, and meaningful. With my mission in mind, every item was carefully chosen for its unique place in your home. Manos De Sur (Hands of the South) inspires every piece in our collection. This is our promise to you. You will wear, and otherwise use every piece with pride in knowing that you’re helping communities that need help. Many of them depend on sales to feed their families.
Keep in mind, Manos De Sur won’t participate in anything but fair-trade production. Fair-trade puts the producers and the planet first. Putting the producers first means offering a fair price for all products. This way the artisans earn a fair wage for their work. We believe this connects to our products in ways few other online retailers can match. Putting the planet first means we only partner with artisans that use sustainable materials. We don’t use large factories. We look for small family businesses that use local resources. For example, we have hand-crafted Porcupine Quill Napkin Rings. The quills are arranged next to each other around a polished black wooden ring.
